Volunteer
The event could not happen without the amazing help of our volunteers! There are a limited number of volunteer shifts for both consignors and non-consigners and they fill up very quickly. Be sure to sign up early.
Consignors
Consignors will receive 65% of total sales with the option of earning up to 80%.
- Earn 70% of total sales when you distribute 50 flyers.
- Earn 75% of total sales when you work a 4 hr shift at the event*
- Earn 80% of total sales when you distribute 50 flyers and work a 4 hr shift at the event.
* Consignors that work a 4 hr shift will be given an additional pass to the pre-sale event for a friend or family member!
Volunteer Job Descriptions:
Distributing flyers
Distribute 50 flyers at least one week in
advance of the beginning of the sale. These
flyers can be given out to friends, family or
neighbors and given out at playgroups, church,
school, etc. You can also put flyers on doors in
neighborhoods that have a lot of small children.
You will need to obtain these flyers by picking
them up at one of two
designated times/locations shown below.
Workshifts
- Set-up shifts (Thursday morning/afternoon) duties include unloading racks and tables and placing merchandise on racks.
- Event shift duties will include greeting customers and answering questions, straightening racks, putting unwanted items back, removing hangers and putting items in bags at purchase.
- Tear-down shifts (end of day Saturday) include sorting merchandise, breaking down racks and tables and loading racks.
Please wear comfy clothes and shoes, as you will be on your feet. Please be sure to read the descriptions of the work shifts to pick the best match for you.
